Audience Vs community

At Filmkik we use the word community instead of audience when referring to the people that are interacting with your content, whether they’re watching it online or in person.

The reason for this is because we always want to approach our projects from the viewpoint of interaction. Our intention is not to create videos that people watch and then keep scrolling. We want to produce content that is so relevant to the viewer, that they comment, share or like it - making the content not just something that they witnessed, but something they were a part of.

On social media we have this amazing opportunity to interact with people, instantly, around the world. When we shift our mentality from monologue to conversation, we change our approach when producing content.

So tell me. How have you evolved your posts online to increase engagement and not just views?
